How it works
From the letter your team receives to an appeal a named reviewer has approved.
- ReceiveThe denial letter is loaded into the tool.
- De-identifyPatient names, IDs and dates of birth are replaced with tokens and kept locally.
- DraftClaim details are extracted and an appeal draft is prepared for the denial type.
- ReviewA named reviewer edits, then approves, escalates or discards.
- RecordEvery step goes into a fingerprinted audit trail.
Built so your team stays in control
The safeguards US clients ask about when their billing partner starts using AI.
The software never decides
It cannot approve, deny or submit anything. It only prepares a draft.
A named person is accountable
No decision is recorded without a reviewer name, including whether they edited the draft.
Less data leaves your machine
Only de-identified text would reach an AI model. If no patient name field is found, the letter is not sent to the AI at all.
No invented facts
Where a clinical or billing fact is missing, the draft leaves an [ADD: ...] placeholder for the reviewer.
Warnings before drafting
Deadlines that are close or passed, high-value claims, and timely-filing denials that need proof.
Tamper-evident record
Each entry carries a SHA-256 fingerprint of the one before it. Editing an old entry is detected and shown.
Stated plainly: the demo uses synthetic letters only. Appeal Desk is not HIPAA-certified, and no real patient data is used until a written agreement (NDA, and a BAA where relevant) is in place. The Trust sheet below lists what is built and what is not yet.
